public law
A general classification of law, consisting generally of constitutional, administrative, criminal and international law, concerned with the organization of the state, the relations between the state and the people who compose it, the responsibilities of public officers to the state, to each other, and to private persons, and the relations of states to one other. The branch or department of law which is concerned with the state in its political or sovereign capacity, including constitutional and administrative law, and with the definition, regulation, and enforcement of rights in cases where the state is regarded as the subject of the right or object of the duty, - including criminal law and criminal procedure, - and the law of the state, considered in its quasi private personality, i.e., as capable of holding or exercising rights, or acquiring and dealing with property, in the character of an individual. (ITIL Service Design)
Одна из стадий Жизненного цикла ИТ-услуги. Проектирование услуг включает в себя проектирование услуг, практики руководства, процессы и политики, необходимые для реализации стратегии поставщика ИТ-услуг и способствующие появлению услуг в поддерживаемых средах. В проектирование услуг входят следующие процессы: управление каталогом услуг, управление уровнем услуг, управление доступностью, управление мощностями, управление непрерывностью ИТ- услуг, управление информационной безопасностью и управление поставщиками. Хотя все эти процессы связаны с проектированием, большинство из них содержит деятельности, выполняемые на разныхсстадиях жизненного цикла услуг.

(ITIL Service Design)
A stage in the lifecycle of a service. Service design includes the design of the services, governing practices, processes and policies required to realize the service provider's strategy and to facilitate the introduction of services into supported environments. Service design includes the following processes: design coordination, service catalogue management, service level management, availability management, capacity management, IT service continuity management, information security management, and supplier management. Although these processes are associated with service design, most processes have activities that take place across multiple stages of the service lifecycle.
